My name is Yosita Tonak, Founder of New Lynn Massage Therapy in Auckland . I provide professional massage therapy in New Lynn Auckland to help reduce pain, relieve stress, and improve overall wellbeing.
This blog is a space where I share my journey, my experience, and my passion for helping people feel better through massage, movement, and self-care.
At New Lynn Massage Therapy, I believe true wellness is about creating balance in everyday life — between body, mind, and how we live each day.
With over 18 years of experience in the wellness industry, I’ve seen how stress, muscle tension, and busy lifestyles can affect both the body and the mind. But I’ve also seen how small changes — like regular massage, gentle movement, good food, and proper rest — can completely transform how we feel.
🌿 Why I Created This Blog
This blog is not just about massage.
It is a space where I share what I truly believe in:
✔ Taking care of your body
✔ Slowing down and managing stress
✔ Building strength and balance
✔ Creating healthy daily habits
✔ Living a more mindful and positive life
I want this blog to feel simple, real, and helpful — not complicated.

✨ My Approach to Wellness
For me, wellness is not about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about:
✔ Listening to your body
✔ Taking small steps consistently
✔ Creating balance over time
Through my work at New Lynn Massage Therapy, I focus on personalised care — because every body is different, and every person has different needs.
💙 A Personal Note
Outside the clinic, I take care of my own wellbeing through gym training, movement, and yoga.
Exercise helps me stay strong, improve my energy, and support my body so I can continue doing the work I love. I believe that movement is essential — not just for physical strength, but also for mental clarity and confidence.
I also focus on simple, healthy eating, choosing foods that nourish my body and support my lifestyle. For me, food is not about restriction — it’s about balance, energy, and feeling good from the inside.
Another important part of my routine is rest and sleep. Giving the body time to recover is just as important as movement and activity. Good sleep helps the body heal, reduces stress, and improves overall wellbeing.
All of these practices help me stay connected to my body — and allow me to better understand and support my clients.
This is why I truly believe that wellness should be part of everyday life, not something we only think about when we are in pain.
